Vickie Woodard

Vickie L. “Wiz” Woodard joined USfalcon as Vice President Business Development in 2019. Vickie is a retired Air Force Colonel with nearly 40 years of experience in increasing levels of management and leadership responsibilities associated with complex Air Force, DoD, Space and Cyber programs; 15 of those years she provided all aspects of strategy, business development and capture associated with DoD and IC to include C4ISR, training, information technology and full-spectrum cyber operations as a defense contractor.

Prior to joining USfalcon, Vickie was the Vice President for Business Development for the Cyber Network Solutions Group at Alion Science and Technology Corporation where she was responsible for the pipeline health, strategy and growth of the Group. Working collaboratively with the Operations managers, the pipeline tripled in size and her Group met or exceeded revenue and new business throughput targets for 2019.

Vickie joined Northrop Grumman as a Capture Manager after retiring from the Air Force in 2005 and has held progressively higher business development and operations leadership positions to include Senior Vice President, CyberSpace Operations Consulting, LLC (Colorado Springs) where she focused on business development to include long range strategic planning, marketing, capture and proposal management in the development of multimillion dollar contracts with the DoD, Services and IC. Prior to joining Alion, Vickie was the DoD Business Development Director at Leidos Corporation where she spearheaded a new strategy for growth and implemented new marketing/capture process across the Operation increasing the Ops/BD synergies for success.

Vickie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Russian and East European Studies from Kent State University and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Troy State University (Ramstein Germany Campus). While serving in the Air Force as an Intelligence officer she held various leadership positions at USSPACECOM/NORAD, USSTRATCOM, National Space and Air Intelligence Center, US Forces Korea US Forces Europe, AF Space Command and Air Combat Command. Vickie was also the first woman to be selected as a Command Briefer to the USAF Chief of Staff.

Vickie is an active member of American Legion Post 71, Clayton North Carolina and a member of the American Legion Riders. She has a son, Shane, who is a LT in the USN.
