Field Service Engineer

Education Level: AAS/BS or relevant military experience required in relative technical area to include radio operator, signals officer or communications equipment maintenance.

Location: Iraq (Duration of deployment will be 6 months.)

USfalcon, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, operate and maintain radio communication systems in various locations in Iraq.

Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance 
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or relevant military experience required in relative technical area to include radio operator, signals officer or communications equipment maintenance.
  • Experience in the use of basic test equipment such as DVM, watt meters, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Applicant must have a strong radio communication background with good electronic and mechanical abilities
  • Experience with HF and installations of communications equipment into fixed sites or military vehicles.
  • Applicant must have the desire and ability to travel CONUS and international for extended periods of time.
  • Experience with HF, VHF, UHF, terrestrial microwave, fiber optics, telephone switching and installations of communications equipment into military vehicles.
  • Experience with Harris/RF Communications products a plus.

Duties:

  • Responsible for the operational quality of system equipment.
  • May install, configure, operate, maintain, repair or modify customer equipment or software.
  • Provides guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques.
  • Analyzes and troubleshoots equipment failures to determine cause. Recommends and/or performs corrective action. 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; SECRET, TS, or TS/SCI (whichever is applicable) clearance is required.
